An Editorial & Timeless Norwegian Wedding
Eline and Mathias' wedding in the charming coastal town, Lillesand was the kind of day that felt intimate, meaningful, and beautifully personal from start to finish. The day began at the Dyreparken Hotell, where Eline and Mathias got ready surrounded by their closest friends. While they chose to get dressed separately, they shared one of the most touching moments of the day just before the ceremony—a quiet first touch where they exchanged a few soft words, and took time to pray together.
Their ceremony took place in a traditional Norwegian church, decorated with lush florals, setting a beautiful scene for guests as they arrived. The ceremony was deeply emotional, with beautiful live songs that moved nearly everyone to tears. Every moment felt sincere and meaningful, a true reflection of the couple’s love and the community around them. There was something incredibly special about the way the room shifted from laughter to silence to happy tears—each emotion fully felt and shared.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the couple made their grand exit to a flurry of puffed rice tossed joyfully by family and friends. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception at Kalvild Gård, a charming countryside estate with beautiful natural surroundings. Their wedding reception was overflowing with emotion—from tearful, heartfelt speeches that barely left a dry eye, to bursts of laughter that echoed through the room. Every moment felt personal and deeply meaningful. It was one of those nights that felt truly magical—full of connection, joy, and memories that will last a lifetime.
